THE BEAR was flooded with wet stories in September, therefore in October we are plunging into
WATER - stories, too
“She had a strange feeling in the pit of her stomach, like when you're swimming and you want to put your feet down on something solid, but the water's deeper than you think and there's nothing there”
― Julia Gregson, East of the Sun
THE BEAR presents an open stage, online show with true, personal stories in English and German. Ordinary Berliners share meaningful moments from their lives, which explore the topic of water, sometimes in the most unexpected ways.
To assure good video & audio quality for you and fun in the spotlight for the storytellers - this show will be live-streamed from Theater Danziger50 in Berlin.
Join us for "live"conversations with the storytellers; anecdotes from the audience.
Show host is Dyane Neiman with music from Vizard's newly released EP Deserta.
From the low & high tides of daily life, storytellers from the audience let us know about a particularly wet time.
The Bear is made possible by the generous donations & ticket sales of our audience, the heartwarming contributions of our storytellers, and the committed work of our core team of volunteers, as well as, the ”Verein zur Förderung der Kunst des biographischen e.V.” and our partners Moving-Speaker.com, KCRW Berlin, Shakespeare Company Berlin.
