PATIENCE
stories of endurance
“There's no advantage to hurrying through life."
― Masashi Kishimoto
Join us for a cozy, heartwarming evening of true stories, told live. At THE BEAR, we celebrate the diversity and commonality of our shared human experience; And especially during these isolated times, stories satisfy our vital human need to connect.
This month storytellers explore the idea of patience.
PATIENCE: Prepare a five-minute story about endurance, perseverance, … waiting. Finish lines of a race, an education, a commitment; the inner dialogue to give up or go on; how to kill time while you are waiting minutes or years; keeping the faith despite any traces of hope; scenes of sweat, craziness, laser focus, starry-eyes; the sigh of relief; the burst of tears; the ecstasy of achievement; the darkness of despair; if you can't think of a story right away - it's okay - this month's it's all about patience.
Tales of times when you took the longer route
and the ordeals you stumbled through along the way.
