THE bEAR is emerging out of its winter den and we are understandably hungry for stories. You are invited to explore the idea of “DIRT” (in German or English) in a prepared 5-minute true, personal tale.
Here is some spinning to get your creativity warmed up:
dirty stories, dirty books, dirty looks; dirt bikes, dirty dishes, dirty windows; dirt cheap; dirtbag; dust to dust, another one bites the dust; to be brought down to earth; to be down to earth; dig up the dirt on someone; to drag through the mud; earth shattering; no man's land; heaven or hell on earth; “land ahoy!”; land grab; land of milk and honey; stuck in the mud; what on earth?; “if you throw dirt enough, some will stick”; clean as a whistle; dig yourself in a hole; dig your heels in; dig your own grave; humus, “Kompost”; soil, gravel, sand, clay, muck, mud; continent, island; filth, grime, smut, scum sewage, slime, sludge, soot; bawdiness, filthiness, profanity, vulgarity, impurity, immodesty, naughtiness, wickedness, perversion; manure … or you could do a 180 degree turn and tell us about cleanliness.
Story creation tip: focus on what you were trying to achieve? - what was at stake?- and what got in the way? We love conflict in stories!
Tell us how you dug yourself into a deep hole and managed to get out.
You may be voted the audience’s Favorite Story of the evening and be invited to the Eve of the Champs to take place in November during the True Story Fest ‘22.
