STORY LAB
is a monthly gathering of storytellers, who test the waters with new topics and ways of creating stories.
Feedback is supportive and peer-based. The discussion is lead by Dyane Neiman and Mike Trupiano.
We meet online to save room costs and open the format to internationally-based storytellers. Stories are in English, sometimes German, and in smaller breakout rooms - the language of your choice.
Upcoming:
Tuesday, March 16 from 19 - 20.30 hrs, Story Topic: “Werdegang: stories of becoming”
“ From an instant to eternity, from the intracranial to the intergalactic, the life story of each and every character offers encyclopedic possibilities. The mark of a master is to select only a few moments but give us a lifetime.”
(from Robert McKee, “Story”)
Next Story Labs: Tuesday, 6. April, Tuesday, 4. May, Tuesday, 8. June

Story Lab hosts:
Dyane Neiman believes in the power of story to connect and move people to action. That is why she created the non-profit organization THE BEAR e.V. to promote and support the Art & Craft of Storytelling.
Dyane is a public speaking & story trainer, as well as a life & business coach for performing artists.
Mike Trupiano is known to the Berlin storytelling audiences for his skill and talent to sneak into souls through his humorous stories that often explore the absurdity of human behavior. Besides his BEAR fame, he works as an actor for film & television, does voiceovers, writing, and has begun teaching storytelling here in Berlin.
This project is made possible by the generous support of the Fonds Darstellende Künste #TAKE CARE
